Magic and Magick often get used interchangeably but each one has it's one meaning. Magic is fun, a parlor trick, that capticates and facinates the crowd with entertaining acts that tricks the eye and mind. There is a logical explanation behind each performance. A series of sequencies often put into place to fool the observer. The performer is just that, an actor, creating a sense of fun in baffling audience. This is a modern day Jester of short. The fool is no fool. Magic with a 'k' however was used to set apart the true unknown mysticism of occultism.
Magick is part of the spiritual arena. There are many religions. Whether it's prayer, or magical spells, the same mechanics apply because both, again, are methodologies that utlizes the same thing: energy. Energy, is the building block of reality, matter, life and all of creation. Like the spiritual practices and religions out there, Science and the scientific method is too utilizes energy and it's truth of being the basic building block of all creation, reality, life, and matter.
Magick is the very real means of using the natural world phenomena to create results that the logical mind cannot explain. Magick is a technology that is not yet understood by the logical brain. Science has become a methodoly for the logical brain to utilize in attempts to understand the phenomina of our reality. Magick, is the creative right brain's methodology of creation. It's an art and a science. Ulitmately the two may merge to explain one another in how in they are the same, but yet, polar opposite in ways. Like seen in spirituality, the duality of Ying and Yang is the Science's version of the Law of Relativity. They are the same. But practiced under different belief systems. So whether you believe in Magick or Science, we're exploring how they are the same.
Magic, seems to be a fun bridge and merge between the two. Where the logical mind knows to investigate and undesrtand the process used to create the results that seems so surreal. The playfulness of being shocked and awed is the fun part of experiencing Magic. The experience is what it is all about. Discovering the 'trick' takes the fun away. The mirror is in the position of being the performer. There is an explaination. The secret to magic or magick is that there is an explaination; but the pleasure is in the experience. Such is life. The end of the act, or Death, reminds of the power we wield now to feel and experience the rich livelness of being here to witness the beauty life offers us in the miracle of being.
